Gmail problems with the latest version of Firefox?
I just upgraded to the latest version of Firefox (2.0, I think) and now whenever I go to read messages in Gmail, the subject line of the e-mail I'm opening appears in the page title at the top of my browser window, but I have to refresh my browser to be able to read the e-mail. Is this a quirk with Firefox, is Gmail having compatibility issues with the latest version of Firefox, or could it be my Windows XP? Or all or none of these?

I have the latest version of Firefox as well (2.0.0.11, why they need such a long version number is beyond me...) and Gmail works with me. It could be an addon or a plugin you installed, or perhaps the 2.0.x version you have is compatible. I know Firefox works for me, so make sure your version is THE latest and try again. If it still doesn't work, try uninstalling your plugins and/or addons, or running firefox in safe mode. You may also try uninstalling Firefox. Mozilla also has a good IRC chat room for support at irc://irc.mozilla.org/firefox if you can use IRC. Good luck!
Reply:I had the same problem after i updated. I don't know how i fixed it, here's what I did.
I deleted all the temp internet files and uninstalled firefox then installed the new version. After that i restarted my PC and it seemed to work fine without that problem. I hope this can help you.

First you will know that you麓re nbot using the last Firefox Version, and sometimes it had problems specially with Cache麓s Browser, so you must delete it with WIndows Cleaner.
Then i suggest to you that try on Internet Explorer, and other option it could be that is your Internet Connection it could be slow or youre using Dial Up, I don麓t know, so try cleanning the cache.

It's not automatic.
1. Click 'Check spelling' along the top of the message you're composing.
2. Click the misspelled word (highlighted in yellow) to see Gmail's suggestions for similar words.
3. Select a suggested word from the list to replace the misspelled word.
4. Click 'Done' along the top of the message to continue composing, or click 'Send' to send your message.
Gmail's spellchecker operates in the same language you've selected for your interface. If you compose a message in a language other than your interface language, you can check the spelling of that message, too -- just click the arrow next to 'Check spelling' to select the appropriate language.

Is there a way to merge the gmail folder in to the personal folder in outlook2007?
That would depend on your definition of, "merge".
If you want gmail and outlook to share the same pst, that may be possible. Just link both accounts to it in their data file setting. (this may also be in the account area of outlook/gmail). Gmail must be recieving e-mails through outlook for this to work, I believe.

Even on a normal PC, you can connect 4 hard drives in theory giving you around 4,000 gigabyte of space. A lot of emails. I understand that some servers have rows of even larger SCSI hard drives that act as mail servers and also for web space.

No it is not true. I have gmail and have used it for a couple of years. Where did you hear this?
Reply:They can only come up on YOUR desktop search, not the internet regular search that we all can see. Just take the google desktop search out of your own computer and no more problem. Use the add or remove program on your computer under tools, internet options.
