How to revoke sent email in gmail?

Yup, I sent an email by accident. Could you tell me how to revoke that email so that the receiver can't read/get it? Or delete that email in his/her inbox? Thanks in advance!

How to revoke sent email in gmail?
Once you've sent an e-mail, no matter what program or webmail you've used to send it, the only things you can do are:

a) hope it bounces

or

b) apologize if necessary.

Once it's sent, it's sent. I'm sorry if that doesn't sound like much help, but I do internet tech support for a living, and it's just how the system works. Neither you nor I can change it -- or the IRS's habit of wanting our money in taxes in the USA -- given the present state of technology.

Wish I had better news for you.
Reply:You can't!!! Once you send it, it is gone!!! You can't delete it , call it back, block it or stop it's delivery!!!
Reply:you don't have that privilege with gmail...aol has that feature, but not many others do...
