How can I make Gmail Block chain e-mails (spam) from contacts in my list?

I recently changed my msn to my gmail account and my friends keep sending me ridiculous chain e-mails which I regard as spam. I send them e-mails regularly so they remain in my contact list and gmail will not mark e-mails as spam if they come from people in your contact list (and yes I have told them to stop).
