Is there any way to get a gmail account with less than 6 characters name?

Hi.. they make us choose 6 characters minimum, but I don't see whats wrong with having less, unless every combination is taken which is very unlikely. Is there any way to get it?

Reply:no they do require 8. they believe it keeps the phony 'bots' out of the system.
