How can Gmail afford to give continuous mail space to its users?

2.5gb and counting?

How can they do it without charging?

if U wanna buy 2.5 gb hard drive space...it's only cost less than a $2.....to get your personal iformation through a service....it costs $ 5.00.....so it's a business decision....and now you are part of gmail users database. They can monitor your buying and communicating pattern...what a bummer.!!
Reply:I dont know, but i use gmail and it is great, epically since they have free pop3, for programs like Thunderbird and outlook express.
