How do I send mail on my Gmail account?

I know to click "Compose mail", then what?

How do I send mail on my Gmail account?
When you click on compose, then in the To: section, you put in the contacts that you want to send it too. If you don't have any contacts, Ask your family and friends for theres. You usually have to add them to your contacts list before sending them an email. The you put the subject of the email. Like if your asking a friend a homework question you would write Homework. The you type the email and you press send. Thats all you really need to do its simple. I also have a gmail account.
