Can Gmail Chats be synced to the hard disk?

I know gmail chats are saved online but can they be saved to the hard disk, synced the way mails are with outlook?

No we cant save Gmail Chats, if you want them to be saved you have to do one option and its the best. It is First Configure your outlook with Gmail and then Open Chat session mail and make it to be forward to your gmail id so that you can get it in to your inbox that means it will be saved in your outlook.
