How do you chat on gmail?

I just signed up and dont want to take alot of time reading features or scrolling through pages.

How do you chat on gmail?
Just sign in, and the box will be on your left. Contacts will be correspondent with your address book on google.
Reply:Signin in your gmail account.





In the left hand pane you will see the list of contacts which you have created.you need to point your cursor on it and it would show you the options for chat.
