Is it true that if you have gmail your private emails can come up on a google search?
No it is not true. I have gmail and have used it for a couple of years. Where did you hear this?
Reply:They can only come up on YOUR desktop search, not the internet regular search that we all can see. Just take the google desktop search out of your own computer and no more problem. Use the add or remove program on your computer under tools, internet options.

your email addy might come up in a search but even then someone would have to have your password to enter your account...
Reply:It's not true - guaranteed. If Gmail mails show up in search engines, Gmail would not be one of the top mails now :-))
