You can open as many accounts as you want as long as the username isn't already taken. I have more than one.
Yes. They do have access to read your mail, but so does Yahoo!, Windows Live, etc.....
Gmail is the best email client that's out there!
You have to pay Yahoo! to forward your mail through Outlook...with Google, IT'S FREE!!!

First gmail is quite good in filtering those emails that are considered spam. It will automatically move the emails to Spams folder. If this doesn't work, you can click on Report Spam button when opening the email.

I have a Gmail account that I access using Thunderbird and the people I e-mail are quite annoyed because Thunderbird changes the formatting of the e-mail so much. Before, when I had it write e-mails in HTML, it wrapped the text at a really early number, about half of what Gmail wraps text at. Gmail runs faster, has plenty of storage (7GB, yahoo's is unlimited) and the search is much, much, much better. Also, you can sync it with your desktop mail program via IMAP as well as POP, you can use it to collect mail from other accounts, and send mail from other "reply-to" addresses, and generally I have found it much more reliable. Yes, Gmail is the winner here.

I recently changed my msn to my gmail account and my friends keep sending me ridiculous chain e-mails which I regard as spam. When you go to log in uncheck the box under those boxes for remember user and password then log in and log out. Close the browser and open it again and see if it automatically logs you in. Getting rid of all you internet cookies will also do the trick. Check the settings in your browser not to remember any of this information also.

I've set up gmail in OE as my "default mail server" yet every time I try to send/receive the same error occurs. OE can't connect. I'm sure I have the POP3, in/out %26amp; connection info correct. You can do this by clicking on the small arrow in the chat region and say "logout".
2. Gmail has an "invisible" option in the chat bar. Choose that and you can remain online on chat, but your contacts will see you as offline and not bother you.
I like option 2 better.

How does one block a contact on Gmail so the sender receives a note that their email has not been delivered?
The answers given above are for blocking mail addresses, but if you do it that way, the contact will not get a message that his mail was not delivered. The only program I know which is able to send a fake "address not found" message is Mailwasher.
Set up your email account(s) in MailWasher and hit the "Check Mail" button. It then downloads all new message headers and displays message details alongside each one (priority, subject, from, to, etc.). Any email that MailWasher considers to be spam is highlighted for easy sorting.
Two checkboxes are located next to each message header: "Delete" and "Bounce". If you click "Delete" the email will be marked for deletion, click "Bounce" and the mail will be marked for bouncing - a fake "address not found" email will be sent to the sender. Once you have decided what to bounce and delete, click "Process Mail" to get it done and your mail client launched for downloading all accepted emails.
MailWasher has a "blacklist" and a "friends list" to enter good and bad email addresses. Addresses in the blacklist are marked for deletion, and addresses in the friends list will be marked as okay. Filters can be set to increase MailWasher's effectiveness. You can have email addressed to "undisclosed recipients" automatically deleted and bounced for example.

It may not be disappearing... usually your signature goes at the end of the quoted text, which I find to be really annoying.
But if you look in Gmail labs, there's a way to tack on your signature before quoted text. Log into your account and click on settings at the top, at the top of the orange area, there are lots of links. Click on the last one that says "labs". Scroll down til you see the lab experiment that says "Signature tweaks" and hit the "enable" radio button. Then submit, and your signature should be there and before the quoted text in every e-mail you reply to.

This is a common problem with Gmail. Your emails ARE being sent to the group, but YOU won't see them unless you go to the group online or you can also check by going to gmail online. That is the sole reason I left Gmail as it caused me ALOT of problems as a owner of several groups.
Another thing you may notice if you belong to multiple groups is that if a member sends in the same email to various groups, Gmail will only send YOU one copy in one group, even tho that message is posted to multiple groups. I notice this alot because I own several groups and many friends have followed me from group to group, and when they post on multiple groups I'll only get one copy on only one of the groups, instead of seeing the email posted on all the intended groups.
For these reasons I left Gmail and went to AOL instead and I love it, lot less confusing now with my groups.

Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. Please help me as i am unable to participate with the problem that is happening to me these 2 days as it never happened before.

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Java script to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. Reply:Set your options to Forward your Mail to aniother email address, then mark all the archived messages as not read, then go to the address you set to forward them to, hit Check Mail, andn you should get all the E-Mail you marked as unread as new mail in the address you forwarded too.

Gmail works slightly different to 'normal' webmail clients. You don't store them in folders like you would with say, Hotmail or Yahoo. You "label" your emails. Tick the box or boxes next to the emails you would like to label then do so. Pick any appropriate label for you own ease of use.
After labelling them you want to move them away from your inbox. This is what Archiving does. Select the emails you'd like to move from the inbox and tick them. Then select Archive from the 'More Actions' drop down box. When all your emails are archived, they are out of the inbox and in one big list. You can call upon the contents of these labelled lists by clicking on the 'labels' list on the left of your screen.
So in short: label them then archive them.
I hope this makes sense.

"M.yahoo.com" is not the yahoo.com version for mobiles, but a new site layout which is tested on a couple of users without asking them for their consent first. Some users like it, but most don't. Many are upset as they cannot get to their mails without clicking many different links before they get to read anything. One user reports that he was told he can't get the layout changed. His reaction: he simply made his mail account his homepage and bookmarked the other Yahoo services. Well, I've been doing this for a long time myself as I want to be able to choose which Yahoo services to use and how to use them...

How can I print a mail in gmail?
I just want the mail content not the junk cluttered around! Is there a way to avoid copy-paste?

by length (if possible)

and also, can you enter "blocked users" so that their messages automatically goes to the SPAM or Trash?

If you report an email as spam then anything from that address will go right to your spam.
I don`t sort anything in Gmail. I just archive it into the ``all mail`` folder. I find that I don`t need to organize it because their search function works so well. If I need to find all emails from a certain person I just search their name. I only keep things in my inbox that I haven`t read or will need to refrence in the next couple of days.
