How can I backup the contents of my flashdrive to Gmail?

I have heard that it can be done.

How can I backup the contents of my flashdrive to Gmail?
log into gmail and look it up under your account settings, as far as I know the main file thing is no longer available (it was a beta test for something called g drive) but you can still upload documents and so forth. Do a search for G drive and see if its still out there, I didn't find it to work that great when I had it, I prefer to use my yahoo briefcase instead.
Reply:Zip the Flash to one file or many, and email it to Gmail; Alternatively use the free X Drive, which to my surprise is still around.
