How do i get my aim mail contacts onto my new gmail account?

i just got a gmail account and have to many contact to put each one in on their own is there any way that i can just save them to my comp and then import them to gmail, and the same thing with my calender

Save them to a compressed file or a new file and just drag them into the new window. Or just copy and paste.
