How do i get DELIVERED RECEIPT and READ RECEIPT on yahoomail and gmail?

I would like to send a mail to my friend.afterwards i wish to know if that "message has been delivered to that particular person".Once it has been delivered to the person I'd like to know that "person has read my message".


what are the steps need to be done from scratch and elaborately if i need to get these 2 options on yahoo mail as well as gmail?


I suggest you to say if this can be done freely without spending money.

I'm not aware that those options are available on web based e-mail systems such as Yahoo.





You'd need to use an ISP based e-mail client who offers that option via their host server.
