What are the pros and cons of gmail?

And can I have more then one account?

And is it true that they store all your e-mails and have access to reading them?

What are the pros and cons of gmail?
You can open as many accounts as you want as long as the username isn't already taken. I have more than one.

Yes. They do have access to read your mail, but so does Yahoo!, Windows Live, etc.....

Gmail is the best email client that's out there!

You have to pay Yahoo! to forward your mail through Outlook...with Google, IT'S FREE!!!
Reply:Yes, you can have more than one account, and you can even have all of those accounts forwarded to one account and write emails from those other accounts within the one account! It's really convenient. You can even do it with non-gmail accounts (I do it with my university email, but I'm sure other people do it with their work email.)

I also like it because of the "google documents" which can export to PDF or Word and can be accessed by people who don't have gmail.
Reply:First of all, why would you want more than one account?

You can, but I don't see the point in it.

Gmail is by FAR, EXTREMELY better than Yahoo! Mail.

There are no cons what-so-ever and I could go on all day with the pros.

There's no reason why everyone shouldn't be using Gmail.
Reply:Gmail is the best free webmail EVER.

You can have more than one account.

Yes they can read your email, but then again so can any other email provider. It doesn't mean they will. If you want total email privacy use PGP or make your own email server.
Reply:yes you can have more then one account, there is tons of pros and NO CONS
Reply:NONE Gmail is pretty much fair then other email host
